Changing device from Android to iPhone can be difficult for some people, but with the new Move to iOS app we don’t have to worry anymore.
How to move your photos and contacts and calendars and accounts from your old Android phone to your new iPhone? There is an app in iPhone who makes this job easier. It works by hooking the two phones up with wi-Fi network and all your data will be transfered. The process it self will take some time depend on how much data is on your phone, but the wireless device-to-device actually won’t have long process.
The Move to iOS app only transfers your photos, calendar, contacts, text messages, photos and videos. It doesn’t transfer your apps, music, or any of your passwords. And this app is only available in iOS9 or higher version.
Follow these steps to move your data from Android to iPhone with Move to iOS
Set up your iPhone as normal until the screen titled “Apps & Data” is shown. Choose the “Move Data from Android” option. On your Android phone, open the Google Play Store and search for “Move to iOS”. Open “Move to iOS” app listing, tap Install, Accept the permissions request, then tap “Open” after installing it.
Tap Continue on both phones, and Agree. Your iPhone will gives you 12 digits code, enter those digits on your android, after that your android will aitomatocally connect with the iPhone by a Wi-Fi Direct connection and determine what data will be transferred.
It will ask whether you want to transfer your Google Account info, Chrome bookmarks, text messages, contacts, and the photos and videos in your camera roll. Select what you wish to transfer, and tap Next.
Your android will transfer all your selected data to your iphone, and iPhone will save those datas into the right places.
Once the transfer process is complete, tap on “Continue Setting Up iPhone” on your iPhone and carry on setting up a new Apple ID or you can log in if you aalready have one. Once the set-up process is completed, you’ll be prompted to log in to the accounts you transferred from the Android phone. After that, you are done!
